Party bookings are charged at £25.00 per person and can be held at your choice of venue. Suitable for ages 13 years to adult.

6 cupcakes in 2 flavours

Professional cake designer to run the party and clear up

If you do not have access to a printer – we can send the booking form to you by post.

Terms and Conditions:

All clients must fill out a booking form and include a list of guest’s names – we use these as name tags for packing up the cupcakes at the end of the party.

We provide all the cupcakes, decorations and icings and bring enough and some extra on the day to cover any accidents.

If you have miscalculated your numbers we would be able to accommodate extra person on the day up to a maximum of 20 however please bare in mind- you would be charged £30.00 extra per person added and this would be payable at the end of the party.

Payment:

Payment can be made either by cash, cheque made payable to Frog Hollow Catering or Bank Transfer – details can be sent to you. To secure a future date and confirm your booking a 50% deposit is required. All parties must be booked and paid for 1 week before the event date.

Our requirements:

For 20 adults – 3 x 6ft trestle tables or equivalent

Additional surface space to set up and store equipment

Chairs for each person

Room to move around the whole table to assist with decorating

Space at the table for staff to demonstrate cupcake decoarating

Hand washing facilities, soap and towels

A place to unload and pack up equipment plus parking

Please note: We do not recommend an outside party as icings are susceptible to melting and the sugar can attract flying insects particularly wasps. If you wanted to have an outside event – we would require a gazebo or marquee to protect your guests.

Food Allergies:

Frog Hollow Catering will not take any responsibility for any person affected by any ingredients used in the creation of Sweet Art.

Nut Allergy - by recipe our cupcakes and icings do not contain whole nuts – however we cannot provide a nut free class due to the possible traces of nuts in the sprinkles and decorations we use.

Food intolerances - Lactose, Dairy, wheat/gluten

Our cupcakes, icings and decorations contain all of the above -however we can provide dairy/ wheat free cupcakes if required.

Cancellations:

When a date is booked, we refuse other events that may come in after – therefore charges are payable for any cancellation of a confirmed date, your deposit will be taken as the charge.

Insurance:

Frog Hollow Catering who provides Sweet Art is fully insured and all staff are CRB checked. Charlotte holds a Level 3 award in food safety management procedures and has been awarded a 5 by The Food Standards Agency.

Master class in cupcake decorating

On 17th November 2011 we held a Sweet Art master class in cupcake decorating at Hollybank House Emsworth.

Great fun was had by all and lots of delicious cupcakes were decorated in a variety of different designs.

Dressed Wedding Trout

On 27th August we provided 3 dressed trout for a wedding buffet at Holly Bank House, Emsworth.

The trout were caught by the bride’s mother and we cooked and dressed them ready for the big day.

Westbourne Church Fete August 2011

On the 27th August we provided a cupcake decorating competition for our local church fete.

The children had a great time and about 60 cupcakes were decorated with sprinkles and sweets, and an aray of multicoloured buttercream and icings.

It was so exciting and creative that some of the grown ups wanted to get involved too. (this could be a plan for next year)

Frank the Vicar of Westbourne church did the judging and there were four winners, 1st and 2nd prize for the under 7′s and 1st and 2nd prize for the over 7′s.

We thoroughly enjoyed the day and are especially pleased at raising £80.00 for our church, we looking forward to doing it all again next year.

In February this year we launched a new side to Frog Hollow Catering.

Sweet Art has been providing cake and cookie decorating classes and parties successfully for children for the last 6 months.

We would now like to introduce to you to our long awaited

Cake Decorating Master Classes for Adults

These new Master Classes are starting in November 2011 – and are designed to guide you through the techniques required to create a beautifully decorated cake ready for Christmas.

The workshops are held on Thursday evenings and run for 2 hours. Drinks and healthy snacks are included.

There are 5 classes in all, each one different providing you with the skills and know how to produce a a finished cake which you can show off to your friends and family this Christmas.

We are offering a discount with our intoductory first class -

Book a learn the basics workshop for just £25.00 per person, the following 4 classes are charged at £35.00 each per person.

The stunning venue for these workshops is Holly bank House, a listed Georgian country house, with 10 acre garden located on the Hampshire/West Sussex border at the foot of the South Downs national park.

Parking is free with plenty of spaces.

80th Birthday Lunch Party July 2011

On the 24th July 2011, we catered for an 80th Birthday lunch party for 26 guests in Westbourne.

The party was held in the newly renovated St John’s parish church hall.

The party started with a champagne and canapés reception, served by Frog Hollow Catering waiting staff followed by a 3 course lunch with celebration cake and coffee to finish.

Menu:

Canapés:

Honey and wholegrain mustard glazed cocktail sausages

Quail’s egg mayonnaise with crispy bacon in Chinese spoons

Cherubs on horseback

Celery boats with stilton mousse and toasted pecan nuts

Selection of marinated olives

Buckwheat blinis with smoked salmon, crème fraiche and chives

3 Course Lunch:

Charentais melon and buffalo mozzarella with mint vinaigrette and prosciutto

Fillet of beef Wellington with red wine and shallot jus

Individual Jerusalem artichoke and mushroom en croute

Baked haddock fillet with Provençal sauce and black olives

Accompanied by:

Dauphinoise potatoes, thyme and honey roasted roots and fine green beans.
