On the 24th July 2011, we catered for an 80th Birthday lunch party for 26 guests in Westbourne.
The party was held in the newly renovated St John’s parish church hall.
The party started with a champagne and canapés reception, served by Frog Hollow Catering waiting staff followed by a 3 course lunch with celebration cake and coffee to finish.

Canapés:
Honey and wholegrain mustard glazed cocktail sausages
Quail’s egg mayonnaise with crispy bacon in Chinese spoons
Cherubs on horseback
Celery boats with stilton mousse and toasted pecan nuts
Selection of marinated olives
Buckwheat blinis with smoked salmon, crème fraiche and chives
3 Course Lunch:
Charentais melon and buffalo mozzarella with mint vinaigrette and prosciutto
Fillet of beef Wellington with red wine and shallot jus
Individual Jerusalem artichoke and mushroom en croute
Baked haddock fillet with Provençal sauce and black olives
Accompanied by:
Dauphinoise potatoes, thyme and honey roasted roots and fine green beans.
Sausages, chips, peas and carrots with ketchup (for the children)
White chocolate and blueberry cheesecake with chocolate cigarellos
Coffee and tea selection
Celebration cake
