Food Standards Agency

15 04 2011

The Food Standards Agency, in partnership with local authorities, has introduced the national Food Hygiene Rating Scheme in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and the Food Hygiene Information scheme in Scotland. The schemes help consumers choose where to eat out or shop for food by giving them information about the hygiene standards in restaurants, cafés, takeaways, hotels and food shops.
A rating shows you how well the business is meeting the requirements of food hygiene law.

It gives you an idea of what’s going on in the kitchen, or behind closed doors, so you can choose where you eat or buy food.

Each business is given a score of 0 to 5 and 5 being the top rating.

We are delighted to announce that Frog Hollow Catering has been allocated a 5 or very good rating.
