Based in the Chichester area of West Sussex, they are a unique charity offering ‘Care at Home’ for local children who have a life threatening illness or who may be terminally ill.
The Sussex Snowdrop Trust provides:
Care at Home by Children’s Community Nurses & Nurse Support Workers
Emotional support which is met by Snowdrop Counsellors
Financial help for families coping with the day-to-day problems of caring for a very sick child.

Is a local independent charitable hospice, first opened in 1973 by a local GP Dr. Francis Gusterson. It is a non-religious organisation that offers palliative care for patients with advanced cancer and other advanced life-limiting diseases.

Is the only children’s hospice in Sussex and cares for children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses from all over the county.

Has been in Chichester since 1987 and over the years has grown in size developing the services provided.They are now a 14 bed (with en-suites) inpatient unit with day care facilities, an education unit, a hospice at home service, and nurse specialist based in the community. They rely on the generosity and support of volunteers and donors alike with only 15% of our income coming from the NHS. The other 85% of our income is generated from fundraising and retail. St Wilfrid’s has 8 shops and a donations centre in a number of towns in the local area. There are over 400 volunteers who help out by generously giving their time both in the hospice and in their shops.
